The Company
Amosdec is a subsidiary of the Amos group. Founded in 1981, the group is based on being a provider of services. The group has experienced steady growth and favours the creation of specialised subsidiaries. The organisation of Amosdec has been structured in such a way so as to serve as efficiently as possible the activities of the company.
Under the impetus of its director, Mr. Serge AZIZA, it is divided into two principal divisions: the Engineering Department and the Products department.
The Engineering Department is responsible for the collective activities of research and development, and Systems/Networks.
Historically specialised in the Open VMS sphere, Amosdec resolved to migrate towards the tools which compliment Windows NT/2000 when the operating system first appeared and marked its engagement in this area in 1995 in becoming a Microsoft Certified Partner.
Strong in this expertise for a long time, it's Global Management Center is certainly one of the most comprehensive and reliable of it's kind in the market today. Amosdec offers Technical Support and offers maintenance contracts and training on all of its products.
In order to maintain the needs of its customers, Amosdec are offering some products which run under Linux.
The Product Department is organised into three areas: Sales (4 Consultants), Technical (3 Engineers) and Marketing.

The skills of Amosdec Engineering in the area of Thin Client and Client Server are made available in order to develop technical expertise in the form of Uniface development workshops.

Utilities for Windows NT/2000
Amosdec have regrouped under the collective heading Global Management Center© a selection of more than twenty tools and utilities principally intended for administration and security purposes.
Amosdec are able to offer these tools which compliment Windows/NT 2000 and are indispensable for the operating system.
In matters of administration, the
products integrated in Global Management Center©

- Quota and File Sentinel
: This provides dynamic management of disk resources on the server by allocating a resource quota to each user on the network
- Diskeeper : The number 1 defragmenter in the world. It allows you to administer the defragmentation across a network. A compact version of Diskeeper is integrated with Microsoft in Windows 2000.
- Ideal Administration
: The tool which links in a single Explorer-type interface the suite of tools necessary for the administration of Windows NT/2000. Now providing the ability to control remotely.
- Ideal Migration
: The first French software program for migration from Windows NT to Windows 2000 and for consolidation of servers.
- NetSupport TCO : software for the management and maintenance of computer stock. It allows you to make an inventory of computer stock, assists in the management of licences, produce parameterised reports, and allows the remote deployment of applications and the supervision of software utilisation.
- NetSupport Manager
: Software for remote control and for HelpDesk. It allows administrators to remotely control several remote PC's, transfer files and to communicate in real time with the users.

- Panda Antivirus
: anti-virus software equipped with advanced network functionality and an outstanding level of performance. Panda anti-virus offers its users daily updates against more than 24000 viruses.
- System Sentinel
: this surveillance software package uses the technology EASE. It ensures the availability of enterprise resources under Windows NT/2000.
- Undelete
: allows recovery of data from the recycle bin, this software package allows an administrator to recover all of the deleted files without leaving his office or looking for them in the backup.
Legato RepliStor : Software for restoring data in real time irrespective of physical constraints or distance. Automatic shutdown in case of failure or server maintenance.
: Solution for automatic shutdown of an application server using a stand by server.

Amosdec have recently introduced a new technology in their range of products and services, the mutualisation of machines with VMware products :
: This software installed on a host machine allows several virtual machines to be run perfectly isolated from one another. They are accessible at a single click of the mouse and can be put on the network.
: Solution for the consolidation of servers. VMware Server allows the integration of up to 64 virtual machines on the same physical machine.
